Kencana Dental was founded in 2021 by Dr. Kamilah Aina, who earned her dentistry degree at the Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST, Jordan). She returned home with a simple but deeply-held belief: that exceptional dental care shouldn’t be a privilege reserved for some, but something everyone can afford.
The name Kencana carries that belief. In old Malay, it means gold — because a smile is the golden crown we should all get to wear with confidence, no matter who we are.
Dr. Kamilah is known for the gentle, unhurried way she cares for nervous patients. She takes the time to calm any anxiety before treatment begins, making sure every patient feels safe, heard, and completely at ease in her hands. It’s a philosophy that now runs through our entire team.
